ISP Consultancy was established by Ian Hutchison following a career with Thames Valley Police.
After military service in the mid 1970s he joined the police force and pursued an exciting and challenging career during which he was promoted though the ranks to Chief Superintendent.
He served at various places across the Thames Valley gaining wide policing experience including working in urban and rural areas, managing major police operations, working on national policing projects and leading the Serious Crime Squad in surveillance and investigation of major crime.
He is a law graduate, has masters in criminology and is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute.

Siri Moorby joined Thames Valley Police in 1977 after working for the National Westminster Bank. She has experience of working as a front line officer in diverse communities like Newbury, Reading and Slough. She has a particular interest in Neighbourhood Policing and was one of the first women police officers in the country to be involved in riot training to police the peace demonstrations at Greenham Common in the 1980’s.
She has wide experience as a police trainer in the ranks of sergeant and inspector. Responsible for the development of national training strategies she specialised in community and race relations, leadership, restorative justice and computer based training.
As a Staff Officer to the Chief Constable of Thames Valley Police she was seconded to the Thames Valley Partnership, a charity promoting partnership working in community safety. She was responsible for research, writing publications and organising major conferences. This tackled issues of vehicle crime, motor projects, working with High Sheriffs in schools and evaluating crime and disorder partnership work.
Recently she has introduced new policies and procedures to improve the service for vulnerable witnesses and victims; including implementation of the Home Office pilot scheme for intermediaries to improve the investigation of adult abuse and serious sexual assault. She is also a member of the working Association of Police Officers working group on rape led by Deputy Commissioner John Yates.
She is a graduate in social sciences and has a post graduate diploma in Training and Education.
Richard Wood joined the Metropolitan Police in 1988 as a special constable before joining as a regular police officer in 1994. He served as an intelligence officer in the Criminal Investigation Department and as an investigator in the Community Safety Unit.
As a qualified police trainer in 2002 he took over the role of Crime Systems Intelligence trainer at the Metropolitan Police IT Training School, Hendon. His role involved the training and development of a number of IT Crime Intelligence systems within the Metropolitan Police Service.
After transferring to Avon and Somerset police in 2005 he was appointed as the trainer, coach and mentor of student constables. He is now a freelance training consultant within the Criminal Justice Sector working for UK police forces.
Recently he designed the IPLDP training package for Thames Valley Police and is a training associate with Centrex. He also works with Cranfield University on international projects for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
He is a graduate in Education, Higher Education in Policing Studies and Information Technology and Computing. In addition he is a qualified practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and has diplomas in NLP, Counselling and Life Coaching.
